Shao Yong (邵雍1011-1070) was one of the six outstanding neo-Confucian elites of the Song dynasty, China. His Treatise of Supreme World-Ordering Principles (Huangji Jingshi Shu皇极经世书) inherited Yi Jing (I-Ching易经)'s numero-ontology and Daoist cyclic cosmology. The masterpiece was classified as a Daoist source in Chinese culture. It is collected in the Daoist Treasury (daozang道藏).
